A fun autumn activity for students to practice working with function transformations - writing equations, graphing, and describing. Includes the following function families: quadratic, square root, absolute value, exponential, inverse variation, and cubic. 30 different leaf-shaped pennants are included each with either an equation, graph, or description with room for the student to come up with the other two. You could easily implement this as a warm up or exit ticket by giving each student one leaf to complete and color, or have students work in small groups to complete all the pennants. Additionally, there are several levels of difficulty throughout the pennants allowing you to easily differentiate for different levels of learners.
