Students sort nonlinear functions in vertex form into one of 8 categories depending on their translations from the origin. For example, y = (x + 3)^2 + 7 would sort into the category "shifts left and up". The preview is a final student product printed on colorful paper. There are 20 functions to sort. Each file contains an activity for 2 students (or groups) to conserve paper.
