This interactive PowerPoint is a great formative assessment tool that will challenge your students to correctly use the definition of a function to escape from the Dungeon of Doom! Students will look at graphs, tables, and mapping diagrams and use what they know about functions to choose a door in which to escape. One wrong move and they're trapped. The beauty is that other students never know which door(s) were wrong. This means that if one student fails to escape, another can try without changing the integrity of the game. You can even remove the last two slides and send it home as an assignment for them to try alone. My kids love this activity and aren't allowed to speak or make sounds as their classmate tries to escape. All clip art was used by permission from Microsoft Office. Enjoy!!
