This resource was created to help target some very important skills for students with special needs: cooking and kitchen safety skills! Providing direct instruction in these areas is just as important (some may argue more important...) than many of the academic skills we focus on in school. Learning to prepare snacks and meals leads to more independent outcomes for our students later in life and learning to do so safely is the only way to ensure this independence!

1. A PDF & Editable version of the Functional Cooking Curriculum Checklist (Note this is an excerpt from the larger Daily Living Skills Curriculum Resource). The checklist includes 82 cooking skills.
