This lesson was designed for the high school low incidence/special ed students. However, due to the nature of the content is it also appropriate for the elementary years.
Students will be given a task card that has a graphic of a dog exhibiting an emotion. They will then read the bottom three words to decide what word represents the image. They will get a little fine motor practice as they pinch a clothespin and place it over the correct word. They will also get social skill practice with learning to read facial expression.
Emotion Bookmarks included! To serve as a reference for different emotions.
