For this activity, the teacher should wear as many clothing items as possible, where students can see them. For example, you might wear a tank top over a t-shirt over a long-sleeved blouse, so that all three tops are visible to students, or wear a skirt over capri pants over pantyhose, so that all are visible.
When I do this, I try to combine as many clashing patterns and colors as possible. This outfit gets lots of laughs, of course, but it is pretty uncomfortable so I suggest you do this at the beginning of the day, and then change into normal clothing.
Hand each student a half-sheet handout and give them 10 minutes to write down the English names for as many pieces of clothing as possible. The student with the most correct wins a prize.
