Scaffolded notes and PowerPoint Presentation for introducing future tense (not simple future with ir +a) in Spanish.
I introduced this tense in the context of a fortune teller. After explaining that we start with the infinitive, students read predictions by a fortune teller and identify the appropriate endings to form future tense.
We practiced future tense afterwards with the students playing "M.A.C.C." (Mansión, Apartamento, Chabola, Casa, my adaptation of the game M.A.S.H.) in partners and making statements in the future about themselves and their partners. The kids LOVED this, and it was a great way to practice the new tense in context.
