As an SLP, something that drives me crazy!! is printing an articulation worksheet and finding target words which are totally inappropriate. For example, when teaching medial /g/, a word like "bugs" is not a good target- firstly it's a blend and secondly it's also too difficult. The medial /g/ words in this powerpoint are ideal words to start off teaching medial /g/ at the word level- no blends and no multisyllable words. You can use this powerpoint at the computer with your student or print them out and make a book!
