Welcome! First of all, many thanks for your interest in the Winter 2020 Issue of the G.A.M.E.S. Gazette! Thanks to your support, we currently have close to 750 subscribers

to this new elementary physical education resource and over 200 TPT Followers. As

we move through this school year, we are hopeful to establish ourselves as another

important physical education resource that can be used for now and in the future as we

transition back to a pre-COVID situation.

Special Focus on Bitmoji: In addition to the numerous games and activities

submitted by our contributors, this issue contains is a special focus on “Virtual Gyms

& Classrooms.” Each of our five Connections Columnists reached out to Bitmoji

virtual designers and asked permission to include their masterpieces to be included in

this issue.

• Additionally, our resident Bitmoji Expert Megan Rache has dedicated her Health

Connections Column with a Step-by-Step Guide for creating your own Bitmoji

Many Thanks! We would like to thank the following three major contributors to this

issue of GAMES Gazette. They include:

• Mic Seifert: Mic has been teaching elementary physical education for 22 years in

Davenport, Iowa. He is devoted to the craft of teaching and believes students should

be encouraged to do their best and be inspired by a teacher’s kindness.

• Heather Isler: Heather is a former Illinois Elementary State PE Teacher of the Year.

Heather is a well-known presenter and is part of the Illinois Fab4. She loves creating

physical education resources under her brand “Activate2Educate.”

• Drew Burris: Drew is in his 8th year working with Pre-K-9th grade students. Drew

recently was the West Central District Elementary Physical Education TOY for

International #PhysEd Experts! In this issue, we have asked three of the world’s

leading international teachers to share their thoughts with us on this question:

“How Was Your Start of the 2020-2021 School Year and Your Lessons Learned?”
