Description

This is a GCF ONLY version of my GCF and LCM Digital Math Escape Room for students who need extra practice finding Greatest Common Factor. Some number pairs between the GCF & LCM version and this version repeat.

Students must unlock 5 locks through finding the Greatest Common Factor of 20 number pairs less than 100. Questions are grouped 4 per puzzle, resulting in five 4-letter codes that will unlock all 5 locks.

The entire activity is housed in one GOOGLE Form. There are no links to outside websites. The 4-letter codes are set with answer validation so that students cannot move to the next puzzle until they enter the correct code. This is a digital-only activity. Includes answer key.

Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1–100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor. For example, express 36 + 8 as 4 (9 + 2).
