This download is perfect for the classroom that has different types of learners at different learning levels. Great for substitute work, independent practice, homework, math center, or differentiated instruction, indoor recess, or extra credit.
With this download you get an animated video, a puzzle worksheet, 2 independent practice worksheets, a common core practice worksheet, and a poster of the skill the students will master.
**Note: Video quality of purchased video will be high quality. Preview quality is low due to the max file size.
The high quality animated video is ideal for your visual learners, RSP students, and English Learners. There are no words to read so students will be able to focus on the animation and sounds that explain the new skill. The video is 5 minutes, which allows for multiple viewings during your lesson. The video is suited for your intervention and remediation students. I like to show the video and then ask students what they learned from it. On the second viewing I pause the video to emphasize important information. This video will teach your students how to find the GCF and LCM simultaniously. A sure way to have them master this skill.
Worksheet 1 is a fun puzzle worksheet that will have students finding the GCF and LCM and matching the correct answer to be given a clue of what to draw in a grid. If all the answers are correct they will reveal a surprise picture. This worksheet is suited for your core group and GATE/Honors students. It can also be used for students who finish their assignments early.
Worksheet 2 is a practice worksheet in which students will have a bank of answers at the bottom of the page to help them self-assess as they do work. This worksheet will give you the flexibility to work with intervention groups because students will not have to ask you if they are doing the work correctly. This version is suited for your intervention group.
Worksheet 3 has the same problems as worksheet 2 but it does not have the answer box available. This version can be used with your core group and high achieving students.
Worksheet 4 is a common core practice worksheet that will challenge your students. Students will have to use mathematical reasoning to explain key questions about GCF and LCM. Students will have to draw, explain, reason, and show proof of their mastery of this skill.
The mini poster will tie in the video with the new math skill the students have acquired. It will help remind them of the video they watched when they acquired the new skill.
Answer key is included for all the worksheets.
