Students will read a short article from the Wall Street Journal (INCLUDED!) on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and will respond to the article in a short paragraph, answering key questions about GDP.
I have used this as a Do Now reviewing basic GDP concepts. This can easily be a closure activity or homework for a basic economics class, as well! Versatile activity that you can assign with very little prep, and include reading/writing standards in your economics class! Cross Curricular and using current ideas!
**NOTE: I do not claim any ownership of the secondary source provided by the Wall Street Journal. All resource information is provided on the handout.**
Includes an easy-to-use rubric for quick grading, as well!
