Here is a collection of six different articles that highlight fairly recent developments in 3D printing. Three of these span two-pages; Three articles are only one page in length. They came off of the internet somewhere.
What I have done in the class is a group-read. In small groups, I have had students read & discuss their article. Then one by one I have the groups report off to the entire class.
This way, they can learn something about 3D printing, but then also learn more through summaries from their fellow students.
In my Adult ED/ Correctional ED Classroom- there are NO funds for any sort of 3D printer. This is the way I was able to introduce and teach what sort of possibilities there are in this technology.
To make your own: I copy an article from the internet & then paste it into Microsoft Word. At that point, I shrink the font and/or margins to help everything fit well into 2 pages.
