Who will be the first to earn their black belt in your class this year? This challenge will test your students' knowledge of the countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, the Continents and Oceans, and the 50 States/Capitals!
These quizzes all come with a numbered political map, a student answer sheet, and a teacher answer key. I've also included an editable file to change the order of the belts for you to best meet the needs of your classroom.
HERE'S THE ORDER OF CHALLENGE
: Identify the Continents and Oceans
: Identify the States/Territories of Australia
: Identify the Countries of North America
: Identify the Countries of South America
: Identify the 50 States of the United States
: Identify the 50 Capitals of the United States
: Identify the Countries of Asia
: Identify the Countries of Africa
: Identify the Countries of Europe
What I do is give kids a key ring to attach to their notebook. When they attain a belt, I give them a colored piece of string that matches the belt they are at. Sort of like a little badge of honor for them to carry around.
