PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING LANGUAGE SKILLS AND PRACTICING NUMBERS 0-31 IN GERMAN!
GERMAN NUMBERS 0-31 GAMES & RECALL WORKBOOK really do help to create a lively language learning environment. Students can develop, embed, reinforce and refresh their knowledge of GERMAN numbers in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. They have a bonus multi-skill focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading and spelling. They’re great for helping students familiarize themselves with, and develop competence in, speaking, reading, writing and spelling longer words in GERMAN. The games and recall workbook are useful not only when you’re focusing on NUMBERS 0-31, but also as an all-year-round starter, plenary and general ‘pick-me-up’ activity, as the goal is not simply to learn how to count in GERMAN, but also to enjoy working with GERMAN, and to feel confident about doing so.
The resource comprises the following three files:
a set of matching GERMAN & English number cards, with each number written
out in full below the digits.
a set of matching card pairs: each pair consists of a digit with its corresponding number written out in GERMAN - you can choose which sets of cards to play with, and this will help you differentiate games and ensure an appropriate level of increasing challenge. Although the resource focuses on 0-31, I’ve included numbers up to 35 on the game cards so that you can print and laminate a complete sheet of paper.
an 8-page reference, recall & write workbook, which includes the numbers written out in full in GERMAN. Students find this useful as an all-year-round reference resource that they can keep in their learning files or folders.
There are three recall & write challenges:
CHILLOUT CHALLENGE: students write the numbers in ENGLISH from a GERMAN prompt - the numbers are in numerical order
CHAMPION CHALLENGE: students write the number in GERMAN from an ENGLISH prompt - the numbers are also in numerical order in this challenge
SUPERCHARGED CHALLENGE: students write the number in GERMAN from a number prompt - the numbers are in random, rather than numerical order
The resource consists of two, non-editable files in a zipped format. Please
