I love to play games to reinforce concepts I am teaching in the classroom. GO Fish is a very popular game in my room. I created GO Fish - Homophones to review the common and tricky spellings. This game includes 50 homophone pairs.
When I play GO Fish in the classroom, I have them spell the word - for example, I may say to a student, "I have see, s-e-e, do you have sea?" OR for a challenge, "I have see, do you have s-e-a?"
I typically print on cardstock and the cards seem to last for a long time. I have also printed on colored paper and laminated the cards. Either way works great.
Hope you enjoy the game!
