This product is a GOOGLE SLIDES version of my popular activities product on this topic (Patterns in Wavelength and Amplitude). The product provides supplemental resources that address concepts related to Waves and their Applications in Technologies for Information Transfer: Develop a model of waves to describe patterns in terms of amplitude and wavelength and that waves can cause objects to move.
The product includes a foldable about wave types, parts of waves, and properties of waves for students' interactive science notebooks. It also includes both a page-size poster and half-sheet posters for students' interactive science notebooks that zeros in on patterns in amplitude and wavelength frequency. Finally, there is a set of 15 task cards, with instructions, for creating models of different wave amplitudes and wavelengths using some type of string or rope. A recording sheet is included where students illustrate the waves they have created and indicate if they would likely be examples of high or low pitch, loud or quiet sound.
Great for whole class or science stations!
