Engage your students and get them moving with these 6 stations on the structures of Mesopotamia!
In these stations students will learn about the geography, religion, accomplishments, political systems, economics, and social structure of Mesopotamia. At every station they are required to complete a unique graphic organizer and answer questions that get them thinking critically about the structures.
At each station they will encounter:
Students will spend 15-25 minutes at each station (or less depending on your students and modifications to the stations) reading, summarizing, answering questions, and filling in graphic organizers about these structures and how they related to Mesopotamia.
They will make a map of Mesopotamia, learn about their system of government, create a social pyramid, learn how Sumerians got the resources they needed, practice writing their name in Cuneiform, take notes in a Ziggurat temple and more!
Included with this resource are all materials you need to lead a student-centered classroom! All you need to do is print out the materials and students will complete the rest!
