Product Description
This mini unit is designed to follow a 2-3 day plan, depending on how much time you spend each day in your writing block. I love to combine my Science standards with my Writing. The children love reading informational text and learning about life around them. Adding a writing component to these lessons is a great way to develop their writing skills, while also assessing their science knowledge!

Included in this set:

1. Detailed 2-3 day lesson plan
2. Informational Text on the subject "Groundhogs, Nature's Weather Predictor "
3. Pre Assessment

5. Informative Text Writing Templates (Differentiated for Below Level, On Level and Above Level) with RUBRICS
