Teach and remind students about the appropriate voice levels for designated activities with these signs. Controlling a classroom of students can be difficult at times. Help yourself by helping your students recognize their voice level and specifying voice levels for each activity and routine students are expected to complete.
-Two different versions of charts
-Both versions in full color
There are a variety of ways to use these charts/signs.
1. Hang signs/charts separately or display on a bulletin board.
2. Display the voice level you are currently expecting your students to match.
3. Label areas or zones in your classroom with the voice level number that is expected within that area/zone.
4. Connect all of the voice level to make a ladder-style chart for display. (You can move a clothespin or other giant reminder cue as to the expected voice level.)
Teaching students about the appropriate voice levels for specified activities is one way to manage your classroom. Use these charts to directing teach students about the different types of voice levels. Don't forget to model the expected behaviors for your students and have a pair of students practice the voice levels. When students are finished modeling, make sure you label the desired behaviors and praise them for following them!
