You will need to have a long inclined plane for this lab. Mine was about 8 meters! Students time how long it takes the ball to go 1, 2, 3, meters, and then they plot time Vs. Distance. You could also of course calculate acceleration (HS Level) but for MS students I kept it simple. Even if your numbers are not perfect by having a long inclined plane the students really learn the concept of acceleration -
