This presentation is a fun activity to do with your class. The Gallery Walk is conducted by separating students into groups and having them rotate around the room to answer questions posed on chart paper. You can also print and post these slides (questions) on a chalkboard or dry erase board and have students answer them. Students love to write on the board! If you do not want students walking around the room, you can print the slides/questions and have them rotate the papers among the groups. Use sticky notes to preserve the sheets for other classes.
This activity is a great formative assessment that can be used at the beginning of the school year or to introduce a new topic or subject.
