Make your life a little easier with these ready to use Houghton Mifflin Gallery questions for 4th grade. Each question is printed in its own frame to give the task an art gallery feel. :) Just print and attach to chart paper where students can write their responses. Or directly on your classroom wall and students can use Post-Its to respond. This is a SIOP strategy where multiple charts are posted around the room with a particular question. Students are assigned to groups of four or five. Each group gets a different colored marker. The student read the question, respond to previous groups contributions and add their own response. After a few minutes, they rotate to the next question. When the groups return to their original chart, they summarize orally the responses for the class members. It great Common Core way to get the students moving. discussing and working together.
