Students have explicit directions.
They use sentence starters and have a checklist at the bottom for self-assessment.
1. Choose 2 pictures that interests you.
2. Label, draw and write about the first picture. Then, repeat for the 2nd picture.
3. What do you see in the picture? Use the sentence starters to help you.
4. After you are done, use the checklist to make sure you did it correctly.
