This will help you students visualize liquid measurements by creating their own Gallon Man. When students learn to draw a quick sketch of Gallon man, they'll always know how to convert from cups to quarts to gallons to pints.
The pieces included and you will need to print are:
* 1 gallon-sized body (Need to print 1)
* 4 quart for the arms and legs (you will need to print 2 copies per student) because there are four quarts in a gallon.
* 2 pints for each quart arm and quart leg (you will need to print 3 copies per student)
*16 cups for each pint you will need 2 cups ( you will need to print around 2 per students, you will have some left over which you can share or save in case of lost pieces)
Have each student color and cut out each measurement and glue them together to create their gallon man. You may also want the students to create a head and face for their body. You may want to create one beforehand to show as an example to follow.
