* 5 different colourful, student-friendly game boards to be used with task or flash cards * Can be used with any flash cards for quick and fun practice, but also includes a record sheet for task card responses.
Make your Math or Literacy Centers engaging and fun!
This resource is designed to be used a board game to use alongside any pre-existing task or flash cards you might have in your classroom. Simply place the task cards in a small basket or pile to the side, and each student takes turns pulling a task card from the basket/pile. They complete their task card by orally sharing with the other players, or recording their answer and work on a record sheet, then roll a die to move their player piece in the game that number of spaces. When I play with my students we usually use game pieces like coins, sequins, pom-poms, or theme-related counters. First to the end wins!
I use these game boards with task cards in Math rotations, Literacy Centers, spelling word practice, and tutoring for many different purposes. I love using these with my primary and middle school students, but also use them with my upper elementary and early high school tutoring students to quickly review terms, spelling words, or math facts.
I have printed these game boards on cardstock and laminated them so they can be used easily for any of my current subjects and units.
You need: game board, game pieces (one for each player), die/dice, task cards, record sheet if required (there is one included in this packet if you do not have one with the task or flash cards you are using )
