Product Description
These game cards can be used to teach a variety of different skills. They have been left blank so that you can choose what to put on them depending on the grade level and the skills or concepts that you are teaching. If you laminate the cards before using, you can write on them and then erase them later so that they can be used again for other concepts.Or, if you prefer to have specific things on the cards, you can create text boxes over the grids and add your own words, numbers or pictures.

Here are some suggestions for each card.

MONEY:
Use plastic coins to make specific amounts and match them up to the written amounts on the card. For example: On the card it might say $.45 so the coins could be 4 dimes and a nickel. If the child makes the correct amount, a marker can be placed on the card. If it is incorrect, no marker is placed on the card and the turn is over.

SCORE:
Use a set of math questions. Each time an answer is found on the card, a marker is placed on the answer. You can determine the questions ahead of time and give the answers to the students to place in random spots on the card.

COUNT:
Roll dice and place the answers on the cards. Add up the numbers in a row or column and the one with the highest total gets a point for that row or column. The one with the most points after all the columns and rows are filled will be the winner.

SPEND:
Use money dice and total up the amount rolled. When a certain amount has been collected, items can be purchased. Put items and the costs on the cards. Cross them off after they have been purchased.

2) Put a variety of money amounts on the cards. Add up the amount of money in each column or row to find out how much can be spent. Have a variety of objects to choose from as prizes that can be bought with the money.

SPELL:
Use a set of sight words and have the student spell the word. If it is correct, it can be written in one of the spaces. If it is incorrect, the turn is over. The first person to fill the card wins.

WORDS: These are blanks for using the various sight words. If you want a set with the Dolch sight words, check out my custom category for sight words.
