Description and Rules for Playing The Reading Schedules Game!
Reinforce the skills learned in the Reading Schedules chapter with a fun game! The Reading Schedules Game allows students to practice reading important schedules in their lives, such as Class, Movie, TV, Bus and Train schedules. Seven new schedules are included along with 100 questions and 10 bonus questions that will provide an additional challenge for your students. The questions are presented as requiring; fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, written and verbal answers. The game can be played in a small group or with the whole class by handing out individual game sheets. The questions are designed so that they can be printed out on Avery or similar business card templates which will provide more structure to the cards. Business card templates can be found in the office supply departments of stores such as Walmart. A sheet of Reading Schedule icons is included and can be printed on the front side of the question cards. This will allow the Reading Schedules Game questions to be more easily distinguishable.
