No paper. No locks. No materials. No prep. Totally digital.
I hope your students will enjoy working through this digital breakout. This breakout focuses on review of 3rd grade math standards. All standards are touched on in this review. This breakout is great for an end of the year 3rd grade math activity or for a beginning of the year review for 4th graders.
Students will discover links to interactive worksheets which they need to solve to find the keys to each of five different locks. This breakout will take approximately 50 minutes depending on the level of your students. Some may finish sooner and others may not finish completely. No matter how far they get, they will all be challenged and have fun at the same time. This is a great breakout to do for homework or as a review activity. Students can work individually or in groups and they love the competition. There are so many ways to use the breakout.
Teacher and students need a free Google account to be able to make copies of the Google forms, drawings and slides. Be sure your district has not blocked Google.
Breakouts are a great way to engage students and work on the four Cs (collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking).
Instructions, helpful information, answer keys, hint cards and a Certificate of Breakout are included. I recommend reading through the instructions and trying it yourself before having students work through it.
