Kids LOVE to play games! Only in this version, they’re playing the familiar game of "Go Fish" but using antonyms.
*This is a great literacy center for Reader's Workshop or use it as part of your word work
* Played with 2-4 players...each child gets dealt 5 cards...matching antonyms are placed down.
* Player asks opponent... "Do you have the antonym for _____?" If the opponent does...they give their card to the player for the match.
If the opponent does not have the match...the opponent says "Go Fish". The player then draws another card.
* If a player runs out of cards, they will need to draw another 5 cards.
* Player with the most pairs at the end of the game is the winner.
Aligned with CCSS, this activity is ready to print and GO!
All the best ~
