Many of our students can learn to name/label familiar items in the world around them. But teaching them to add /s/ to make them plural doesn’t work in our language. There are so many different different rules for forming irregular plurals -add /es/, change /y/ to /ies/, change the -o to -oes.
Students need to practice with more opportunities than they get throughout their day, and with the benefit of the SLP or teacher to provide scaffolding when needed.
And students in mixed groups need you to be able to target each of their different goals. To help with this, pick up any or all of the other game card for language sets
This set of cards has:
• 78 items for practice with plural nouns.
• Includes both regular and irregular plurals.
• Some cards ask students to tell the plural of a word. Other ask students to identify the plurals in pictures.
• Game board provided.
You will find multiple sets of game cards in my TPT store, some of which are here
as well as game boards, which you will find here
