This is documentation of how I applied gamification to math intervention. Math is not fun for most students; every effort needs to be taken to motivate students to excel. Engage your students by tapping into their inner gamers. Gamify your instruction, make it as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Exercise your creativity, and come up with a unique experience that your current students will enjoy.
Differentiation does not only apply to skill levels; it also applies to interest. This document will not give you something you can use right away. It tells you how it worked for me and my specific group of students. Personalize it for your own classroom; you know your students and what they like.
