This is a bundle of two different science power points; one is an introduction to the behavior of gases and one is an overview of solids, liquids and gases.
The Behavior of Gases is an 11 slide introduction to the behavior of gases. It not only introduces and defines volume and pressure but illustrates why and how molecules speed up or slow down, Pictures, animation, and words are used to engage the students as well as to accommodate different learning styles. The power point ends with a five question checkpoint that can be used as a review or as a quiz for the students.
Solids, Liquids and Gases is an 15 slide overview of the various forms of solids, liquids, and gases and introduces amorphous solids as well as viscosity. Specific examples of solids and examples of fluids with different viscosities are given. Pictures, animation, and words are used throughout the power point to engage and hold the student's attention as well as to meet the different learning styles of the students. It concludes with a four question checkpoint that can be used as an assessment or as a review.
Both power point presentations may be revised or edited to meet your classroom needs.
