This fun game song will take you all the way through the fall and can be used in numerous grade levels. You can review the simple rhythm of ta and titi, as well as meter. You can use it for introducing "FA". And, you can accompany yourselves on xylophones using the instrument part included. Of course, the dance included is great fun, and can be used in limited space.
Here is what you get:
*MELODY pages - read the notation without any color prompts. Ask students to find "FA". When they do, it will light up and reward them with a "YUM" sound that delights kids. You can then tap the other notation to get color prompts, if desired, for note name help. The range is "do-re-mi-fa-so-la". While this is pitched in F major on the page, you can play it in whatever key you wish. Using Xylophones, playing in other keys is easy and won't confuse young learners.
RHYTHM pages - the simple rhythm is comprised only of ta and titi. The meter is in 2. For review you can have students add the barlines.
ACCOMPANIMENT - The xylophone accompaniment is provided. The lyrics are on the page, so it is easy for all to sing along.
DANCE - This fun dance is done in groups of 4. At the end of the song, everyone has to get a new group and they only have 4 beats to do so. It is uproariously fun!
