Product Description
This is a fun way to practice understanding of tens and ones and greater than/ less than using <, >, and =. If you're interested in ones. tens and hundreds, check out the "Gator Place Value Level 2" game.

This is a two- player game. Each play should have their own game sheet. Player one rolls two 6- sided dice and makes a number using the two numbers rolled. For example, if player 1 rolled a 6 and 2, they could make 26 or 62. Player 1 records their number on the game sheet in the tens/ ones area and in the box labeled "my number". Player 2 does the same thing. Then each player writes the number that the other player rolled in the box labeled "my partners number". Lastly, each partner uses the signs <, >, or = to compare the two numbers. Continue playing, rolling two dice each time.

For learners who are still working on conceptual understanding, I've had them grab a handful of tens and ones manipulatives. Then, they count by tens and ones to create their number and record it on their sheet. (instead of using two dice). Another option would be to create cards numbered 0-9 and players draw two cards to create their number.
