This is an editable powerpoint presentation I made on how to make gelli-plates for printmaking with my 5th and 6th grade students. Each slide offers images with directions on how to make a gelli plate.
I had my students make their gelli plates in plastic tupper ware containers and it worked out great. We used traditional black printmaking ink and brayers and leaves to make our prints. We added glycerin into our mix since I do not see them everyday and I did not want the gelli plates to "expire". They lasted a few weeks actually!! :)
The preview of the slides is looking kind of funky (I have a wide screen mac book), but this is an editable powerpoint so you can fix it and edit it to make it work for your needs.
