PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Lesson objective: Through visual media, self-reflection, and discussion, students will identify traits associated with “masculinity” versus “femininity.” The overarching objective of the lesson is to shed light on the gender inequality that pervades today.

Note: I have taught this lesson in various social studies courses to grades 9-12 (World History, Psychology, Sociology, AP Human Geography). However, the lesson can be adapted to fit the unique needs of your students and course requirements. As such, you may wish to incorporate a parallel text/topic into the discussion.
