This resource includes 35 general classroom expectations task cards that can be used at the beginning of the school year for teaching expectations! I use these in my own classroom, and tell my students that I am a brand new student at the school, and it is their job to teach me the expectations for this class. Their assignment is to write the expectation or directions down in complete detail, then share with the class.
I print these in cardstock and use these throughout the year. They are excellent to pull out mid-year when the students need an expectations refresher!
These task cards cover everything from how to ask to use the restroom, what to do if they need to borrow a pencil, and how to sign out books from a classroom library.
