The problem with a lot of science fair projects is that they are just “investigations” about a certain topic with no clearly defined question or hypothesis. If they have a hypothesis or question, it is often not testable, especially with the student’s investigation.
These worksheets help students to identify a science fair topic, generate a testable question that can be answered conducting a scientific investigation using materials they have or can easily acquire, and create a hypothesis they can confirm or refute.
This includes student worksheets and a parent/teacher guide and resources to help students design and conduct their experiments.
BONUS: this also includes an advanced section on identifying variables that guides students to carefully design their experiment when they wish to use multiple independent variables.
