Gone are the days of writing study guides that include long lists of questions for students to answer. Not only is this time consuming (on both the part of the teacher and student) but it is not a particularly helpful way to study. Instead of having students waste time answering questions that they already know, have them instead reflect on the topics they need to study. This template allows students to pick their weakest areas from a list of topics that you give them for any test or subject. These topics are what they focus their time on. They will interact with the material in different ways including vocab, diagrams, summaries, and questions. Students can begin to get ready for higher education by implementing practices that allow them to reflect on their own learning.
