Performance Expectations:

MS-LS4-5 Gather and synthesize information about the technologies that have changed the way humans influence the inheritance of desired traits in organisms.

RST.6-8.1 Cite specific textual evidence to support analysis of science and technical texts.

My students read the article "Genetically Modified Food" by Keith R. Schneider and Renee Goodrich Schneider. The article is available at

We expanded on the Flavr Savr Tomato and StarLink Corn Incident as students found these especially interesting!
