This is a folder of short reading assignments on different genetic disorders and each has questions to follow. The questions are all text-dependent questions. I used it as a bell ringer. The front of the sheet has common science prefixes/suffixes that the students practice. This is for a middle school or high school science class that is studying genetics. It is an easy way to include reading in the genetics unit.
The readings contain: albinism, celiac disease, color blindness, cri-du-chat, cystic fibrosis, down syndrome, dwarfish, hemophilia, Huntingtons disease, klinefelter, muscular dystrophy, parkinsons, sickle cell anemia, tay-sachs and turners syndrome.
