This folder includes all the PowerPoints and student hand outs for the genetics argumentation unit. The essential question is "Should we genetically engineer people before they are born?". I start this argumentation with marking the text for 3 different articles (included). For the second article I have the students mark the text with Think Like A Disciplinarian (discipline cards available in my store). The TLAD organizer for this genetics argumentation is included in this bundle.
Following marking the text for the 3 articles, students work on the argument organizer before participating in a socractic seminar and starting the argumentation writing process (resources and PowerPoints available in my store).
