This genetics lab activity observes the following traits: dominant/recessive, incomplete dominance, codominance, and multiple alleles. Students work in pairs and try to identify their own phenotypes and genotypes by flipping coins. The students then flip coins again to determine which allele gets passed to their offspring. The students finish by drawing their offspring and analyzing the class results. Includes Microsoft Word Lab document with instructions, a Word document for the students to draw their offspring, and PDF versions of all docs.
