Description

This resource is a 7 page practice problem worksheet on sex-linked genetic traits. Both printable and digital versions are included. There is a wide variety of problems that cover colorblindness, hemophilia, eye color in fruit flies, etc. The students will determine the genotype of parents, fill in Punnett squares, determine the genotypes and phenotypes of the offspring, and determine the probability of obtaining various types of offspring. Some of the problems are monohybrid (one factor) problems and some of the problems are dihybrid (two factor) problems. All of the problems involve sex linkage and sex-linked genes.

Suitable for Biology or Life Science students in grades 9 - 12.

Both printable and digital versions of this resource are included. The student handouts can be printed or used in the paperless digital format in your Google Drive, Google Classroom, Microsoft OneDrive, or similar. This resource is perfect for traditional classroom settings, 1:1 schools, or for distance learning.
