This packet reviews the major topics presented in the genetics unit of an introductory high school biology course. This may be completed as homework or cooperatively in a classroom setting. I recommend allowing students to share their answers and self-correct to promote mastery of content. Topics include DNA structure and replication, protein synthesis, Mendelian genetics, pedigree analysis, and DNA technology.
