I have designed this activity so that students can check their understanding of important GENETICS VOCABULARY while also giving you an opportunity for formative assessment.
During this activity, students will answer questions about important genetics vocabulary. Students begin by scanning the QR code on the START domino, and answer the question that pops up on their device. Then, they answer the question, and find the answer on one of the remaining dominoes. This domino connects to the START domino, and has the next QR code they will scan. The questions are in sequential order, so if a student does not get the correct question number when they scan, then they automatically know that they their answer is incorrect. In this way, students can easily CHECK for their OWN UNDERSTANDING!
