Vocabulary wheels are a great way to get students to compare and contrast words to determine relationships among them. This activity requires students to think at a much higher level of Bloom's Taxonomy as compared to memorizing definitions. Teachers can use this activity as a formative assessment to check for student understanding of material or as review before a summative assessment.
This wheel focuses on words that were significant to Gregor Mendel's pea plant experiments and the results he obtained.
