This is a digital record where students can gather data for their Genius Hour project. Students can type notes onto this PowerPoint, insert pictures of handwritten notes, list websites or book titles, and link to websites and video sources.
This is typically used in a 1:1 classroom or any classroom that has frequent access to technology.
This PowerPoint can be used with your students as you see fit. In my classroom, I share a copy with each student through Google Classroom, because when I attach the file, the Classroom makes a copy for each student and adds their name to the title.
There are 4 category types of resources: website sources, video sources (like YouTube), book sources, and expert sources. We consider experts to be individuals outside of the classroom with any particular base of knowledge. An expert can be a family member, someone in the school, a member of the community, a professor, etc.
