This outline for a (group) presentation is ready to go so you don't have to come up with the guidelines and expectations for your students. I gave my students a week, but 1-2 class periods is probably all they need. They did these before reading Night.

Some lists are different, some only have eight stages, but the ten stages of genocide that I used were Classification, Symbolization, Discrimination, Dehumanization, Organization, Polarization, Preparation, Persecution, Extermination, and Denial. Definitions are provided to help differentiate for students on IEPs.
